This hour long seminar provides a timely refresher on the main types of privilege under English law and highlight key updates and practical considerations to keep in mind.

Topics addressed include discussion of the Supreme Court’s decision in R (Prudential PLC and another) v Special Commissioner of Income Tax and another [2013] UKSC 1 to refuse to extend the availability of legal advice privilege beyond members of the legal profession.
